Double spiral sand washer is the professional sand washing machine developed on the basis of previous technology and combined with the actual situation of sand and gravel industry. It is a high-efficiency sand washer which can separate the excess powder and mud and so on in the raw material. When working, the sand will grind each other under the driving of the impellers. By this way it can not only remove the impurities wrapped on the surface of the sand, nut also destroy the vapor layer wrapped around the sand, and completes the impurity cleaning processing in powerful water flow.

The sand washer is developed according to the principle of different particles with different fall velocities because of their sizes and densities. Fine particles float in the water and form the overflow; coarse particles fall down to the bottom of the trough and are pushed to the top port by the impellers and discharge. During working, the motor drives the impellers to rotate slowly by triangle belt, decelerating motor and gears. Sand enters the washing trough from the fed trough, roll and grind each other under the driving of impellers. Then wrapped impurity around the sand surface is removed and the vapor layer is destroyed at the same time. While the impurities and dirt is removed by the added water flow, cleaned material is conveyed upward by the rotating impellers to the discharge chute.
